A Shopify app broke add to cart when its script replaced the product form, the cart drawer or the button theme already had. The page still looks normal. The tap does nothing, or it opens a second cart.
Online store, Themes, Customize, App embeds. Turn embeds off. Test add to cart in a private window. Turn them on one by one until the button fails. That embed is the conflict.
Apps that collide most often
- A second cart or upsell drawer on top of the theme cart
- A sticky add to cart app plus a theme sticky bar
- A currency or markets app that rewrites the product form
- A page builder section that is not the real product form

After you find it
Keep the app only if you can name the job it does. Otherwise remove it and use a theme section. If the product form was edited in code, that repair is custom development or a task for monthly maintenance.
The theme file itself is involved. Send the product URL.
