A domain name is the address. npsofttech.com is a domain. The computer that sends the pages is hosting. The pages themselves are the website. People mix the three because you often buy them on the same invoice.
The split is domain vs hosting. How the name finds the computer is how to connect a domain to hosting.
Register a domain you can say out loud. Point it at your host (or at Shopify if the site is a shop). Renew it so it does not expire. The logo on the registrar site does not make the name better.
Browser types domain → DNS → hosting or Shopify. ALT: Domain resolution from a typed name to a website.
Parts of the name
The part you choose (the second level) plus the ending (the TLD). www is usually a prefix, not the domain itself. You can run the site at the root and redirect www, or the other way around. Pick one and keep it. Shopify and Hostinger both have domain settings for this.
Where to buy
Any reputable registrar. Hostinger sells domains. Other registrars do too. If you want the name and the host in one panel, buying both at Hostinger is simpler. If the name already lives elsewhere, you do not have to move it to use Hostinger hosting. You point it. Official steps change. Use Hostinger’s current guide, not a 2019 nameserver list.
NP SoftTech’s Hostinger partner page is for hosting offers. Their coupon notes say domain-only purchases are often excluded. Read that page before you assume a discount.
| You have | You still need |

Choosing the string itself is how to choose a domain name. India-specific endings: .com vs .in.
