People say “Hostinger AI Builder vs WordPress” as if they were two skins of the same site. They are not. Hostinger AI Builder is a hosted, no-code builder. WordPress is software you install, theme, plugin and update. Hostinger also sells an AI helper that creates a WordPress site. Read the product name on the screen before you compare them.

Stay on AI Builder if the site is simple and you like editing there. Choose WordPress if you need plugins, portability or a CMS you already know. Do not assume a one-click clone of layout and store.

What export actually keeps
Hostinger’s switch article says you may need to delete the builder website and set WordPress up again. Their export article (manual mode) says pages, texts, images and files can move. Style, layout, online store, integrations, forms, submissions and SEO settings cannot. WordPress must be 6.5 or higher and the domain propagated, per that page. Recheck the live article if this is your plan.
The third path
If you want WordPress from day one and still want a prompt to draft the theme, look at Hostinger’s WordPress AI builder, not the standalone AI Builder. Then you are on WordPress, with the usual plugin surface. Cost of that path: WordPress cost in India.
