A business website does not need twenty pages on week one. It needs the pages a stranger will actually open. This list is a default for a services firm in India. Cut what you cannot fill with truth.
How those pages sit together is in how to create a business website. A single campaign URL is a different product: website vs landing page.
Publish home, services, about, contact, privacy, and a simple terms or disclaimer if you take enquiries. Add work, FAQ and one location page when you have real content. Leave the blog empty until you will write.
Home → Services → Service detail → Work → About → Blog (optional) → Contact. ALT: Simple sitemap for a small business website.
The ten
| # | Page | Job |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Home | What you do and where to go next |
| 2 | Services (or one service) | What someone can buy |
| 3 | Service detail (as needed) | A deeper page for a searched offer |
| 4 | About | Who you are, where you work, no fiction |
| 5 | Contact | Phone, form, map or city, hours |
| 6 | Work / examples | Real projects or photos you can show |
| 7 | FAQ | Questions you already answer on calls |
| 8 | Privacy | What you do with form data |
| 9 | Terms or disclaimer | Basic rules for using the site |
| 10 | Blog or resources | Only if you will maintain it |
What to skip or delay
A careers page with no jobs. A “team” grid with stock faces. A testimonials slider of invented quotes. City pages you will not serve. We do not publish a public staff directory on NP SoftTech either. Useful company story is enough.
Mistakes that make even a complete sitemap look cheap are in website design mistakes. Cost bands sit in website cost in India.
